The project in Roosendaal centers on a challenging concrete pour. The narrow creek is adjacent to residents’ gardens making it impossible to place equipment next to the segments to be poured. The special feature of this pour is that the underwater concrete had to be pumped through floating piping over the water. The creek is vegetated along its entire length, which limited the clearance above the water. Qceas performed the entire scope of works; preparing the pour including preparatory dive work, supplying the underwater concrete and concrete pump, and of course, the pouring of the underwater concrete by our personnel. Qceas went all-in on this local but challenging project in the middle of the municipality of Roosendaal and successfully completed it.
