At the city center side of Amsterdam Central Station, Qceas faced a considerable challenge. Bicycle parking for 7000 bikes had to be constructed underwater. A complex project, right in the heart of Amsterdam. The scope of the project entailed the preparatory work for the pouring of underwater concrete, inspections, cleaning the sheet piling and ground anchors, removal of contamination, welding work on the cofferdam in the main construction pit and the installation of anchorage as well as the actual pouring of the underwater concrete.
